Irvine Regional Park - April 21st

On the 21st, my dad took me roller bladeing at the Irvine Regional Park, where we found the Orange County Zoo that we had NO idea was there. So after we rollerbladed for about an hour, my dad took me to the zoo. We saw Coyote's, Owls, Pheasents, Goats, BURROS, Mountain Lions and MORE!

It was sooooooooooo cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometime last week, our dad took me and my sister to go rollerbladeing there again, we didn't go in the zoo but it was still very fun.

Also, outside of the zoo there are LOADS of PEACOCKS AND PEAHENS!!!!
And they are pretty tame too, we walked right by them.

There are also horse/pony riding and train rides and so much cool stuff, very fun place!

NEW ROLLERBLADES!!

Well yesterday, me and Haley ran some errands with our dad. After we ran some errands, my dad took me to "Play it Again Sports", its a place where you can sell or trade your old sports equipment, or you can just buy from them, you can buy new equipment or you can buy used equipment for a REALLY good price. I bought a pair of used rollerblades for a great price, and they are good quality too!

That night, we watched the blind side. it was a REALLY good movie!

Earlier, I ran some errands with my dad, he also took me for a few stops too. He took me to a tack shop to see the little baby lamb, chicks and little tiny puppies, they were soooooo cute. Then we went to a little historical town type thing, it was really cool. Then when we got home, me(with Nai-Nai) and dad went rollerblading. I had sooooooo much fun! Thank you daddy!

Yesterday, John went to the other foster home where his brother and sisters are. So he got to be reunited with his brother and sisters which is good for him now that he is healthier, but at first he just sat in the back of his crate and growled at them, then I pulled him out and they kinda started playing a bit. :)

So now we are puppy free, well...Technically we are ALMOST puppy free, because Nai-Nai is about 8 months old now so TECHNICALLY she is still a puppy, but she is pretty easy. :)

So three of the puppies went to another foster home, leaving us with just little John, who by the way does not have very little VOCAL CORDS!!!!

But things are a LOT easier with just one puppy, but no quieter, actually, if its possible I would say its gotten louder. But its all good, still easier:)

Nai-Nai Update: Most obedient 7 month old puppy!(Probably)

We took all of the dogs for a walk earlier tonight. When we got home, we tried letting Nai-Nai off leash just out front of our house. My mom stood at the only opening while I played with her. She was so obedient, she came right to me when I called her, and she went right to my mom and dad when they called her. She is such a good little puppy!

I couldn't believe how good she was at only 7 months old!

I have been wanting to knit again and I could not find any knitting needles - Which is surprising -. So while we were out - Getting a free grand slam at Denney's and running a few other errands - we stopped by Joann's, and I bought these knitting needles.

Then I tried making a square, but something happened and it got messed up, so I made this bracelet. Just to let you know, its a knit bracelet with a bead in the middle.

Beach Day

Earlier today, our dad took me, my sister, my brother, a friend of mine and Haley's and three of Morgan's friends.

It was so cold in the water, we kept getting out and then trying to get back in. It was my first time actually in the ocean, it was so much fun.

First me and my dad just got used to the water, then I got on my boogie board and just practiced going over little waves. We slowly went deeper and deeper, by then I was working on going under waves.

Then my dad got the boogie board that had the little wrist band thingy, and he pulled me past the break. It was hard to get pasty the break, but once we did it was very nice.

Once, my dad was trying to help me over the wave by kinda throwing me over, but I didn't get high enough so it just smacked me in the side of my head. After that I kinda took a break, because when I blinked I saw just red.

When my dad took me past the break, there was this one wave that pulled us almost all the way back to shore, it was so much fun!

It was like being on a water roller coaster, I love boogie boarding:D

Then we got cold so my brother and my dad buried me, my sister and our friend.

Then we rinsed off in the water and then came on the beach for lunch, we had sun chips and turkey sandwiches. We also had Water, Brisk and Sparkling lemonade.

After that we played in the water a little longer in the water, then we went down to our grandma's beach house to hose off.

Then we went home, it was a very fun day:D

Tomorrow, me, my sister and our friend are going to go shopping for birthday presents for a friends birthday party on the 14th. It was very late notice so we are going to just go tomorrow, then at 4:30 me and my sister are going to go baby-sit.

Announcing the winner of the world's cutest burrito contest

I gave her a little bath...I was drying her off...

Earlier, we went to the store to get the ingredients for a puppy formula, Nai-nai has been losing weight so we wanted to give her some extra food, we fed the other ones too.

Here's the recipe:

1. 10 oz can evaporated milk or goats milk(We used evaporated milk because they didn't have goats milk at our store)

2. 3 oz water(If you use evaporated milk)

3. 1 egg yolk

4. 1 cup whole plain yogurt(We used Mountain high original plain yogurt)

5. 1/2 tsp corn Karo corn syrup(Karo is the brand, we used the dark corn syrup. It can't have vanilla in it and it can't be reduced fat.)

Then you just out it in a bottle and give it to them.

Nai-nai absolutely LOVED it, she drank 50 ml of it(More than all of the other puppies drank).

Yesterday, we got a scale and weighed all of the pups. Alpha weighed in at 9 ounces, Bravo weighed in at 8.6 ounces, Oso(Who we thought would be the biggest) weighed in at 8.4 ounces, Jethro weighed in at 7.6 ounces, Hope weighed in at 7.5 ounces and Nai-Nai weighed in at 5.5 ounces(So Small!).

Today, we weighed them again. Alpha weighed in at 7 ounces -Lost 2 ounces-, Bravo weighed in at 7 ounces -Lost 1.6 ounces-, Oso weighed in at 9 ounces -Gained 0.6 ounces-, Jethro weighed 7.6 ounces -Same-, Hope weighed in at 8 ounces -Gained 0.5 ounces- and Nai-Nai weighed in at 6 ounces -Gained 0.5 ounces-.

We have decided for sure on their names, Morgan named the two black ones, Alpha is the boy and Bravo is the girl.

Haley named the tan ones, Hope is the girl and Jethro Gibbs(from NCIS)is the boy.

I named the two white ones, the runt of the litter is a little girl named Nai-Nai, and the biggest pup of the litter is the boy named Oso, but while he is a baby we call him Osito(Oso means bear(He looks like a baby polar bear) and Osito means little bear.).

We got the puppies around 5:00 earlier today, they are so stinken cute!!!!
There are two white puppies(Including the runt of the litter), two black puppies, two tan puppies and their mom who is a black chihuahua.

Puppy in Training

This Sunday, I am going to go to the first meeting for Guide Dogs for the Blind(GDB), then I will probably have to fill something out, but soon I will have a puppy that wears a vest saying 'Puppy in Training'!

Guide Dogs for the Blind is a place where volunteers come to be puppy raiser's, puppy raiser's usually get the puppy at about 2 months old and usually have the puppy for about 16 months, and through out their first 16 months they will go to about 2 GDB meetings a month(and you have to bring their puppy report:D).

When they are 18 months old they go to their formal training, formal training is teaching them how exactly to be a service dog, if they complete their formal training they will graduate into becoming an official service dog, if not, they will either go into the K9 buddy program(Which they explain in a video) or they will have to have a career change.

Well I am very exited, I have been wanting to do this for almost a year now. Also, the pacific one that we are going to, accepts kids 9+ to become puppy raiser's, so I will get to do it:D(They said I was the perfect age:D).

Late Update

I haven't really been updating a lot, we have been kinda busy.

This is whats going on. Spock, Kirk and Sophie have all been adopted, they have already gone to their new homes. Poor little Madeline doesn't have a home yet but does have someone who is interested in her, so hopefully they will take her home:D

So right now we have Madeline and her mother Abby, hopefully Abby will get adopted too:D

Spock went to a home the day before yesterday and Sophie went a couple hours later, Kirk left just yesterday, and if all goes well Madeline will go tomorrow or the day after.

We are going to my grandparents today, we are leaving at 4:00:D

Names Confirmed

We finally confirmed their names. The black girl is still Sophie, the brown girl is still Madison, the black boy is now Spock, and the brown boy is now Kirk. The mom's name is still Abby, and she is the sweetest little girl.

Abby is a little sneaky, though. Last night we think she jumped over the fence to go to the bathroom - which isn't so bad:) - and then went back in - even better! Because we saw that she could jump over the xpen that we had around them, we used the taller one so she can't get over it.

Our grandma is coming over today with Daniel, our youngest cousin. And later today one of my friends is coming over to see the new puppies. Today will be a big day for the little ones.

We think that the moms name was Abby, so we are calling her that for now. She is getting a bath right now, she had some dirt on her so we decided to clean her off. She is really nice about letting us be with her puppies, she is so sweet: )

Foster Pups

We just brought our new foster puppies home, they are so precious!
They are chihuahua mixes, there are 4 1 week old puppies and the mom.
There are 2 girls and 2 boys, there is a brown girl and a black girl, then a brown boy and a black boy, the black girls name is Sophie, the brown girls name is Madison, the black boys name is Sam and the brown boys name is Max. But we are still not positive about the names, we don't have a name for the mom yet but I will post when we do.

Day of Fostering/Memorial Day Dinner

We had been planning on fostering some mastiff puppies for about a week, two days before we were supposed to get them we got a call from the foster group asking if we could take them that day(25th), so they dropped off the four six week old mastiff puppies about an hour later that day, they were so cute!

We had a really fun day with them, but we soon found out that they were really sick, she tried to give us the four least sick out of the ten that they had, but we had to send them back, they were to sick to take care of at our house:(

But we had a fun afternoon with them, but the next morning they came to pick them up.

Earlier today, our grandma and grandpa came over for a little memorial day dinner. Me, my brother, my grandma and my grandpa all went to the store and got some lunch meat, bread, chips and some other things. Then we came back to our house and we had dinner, after dinner me, my dad and my grandma played cribbage and I won by 1 point.

Day at the beach

Earlier today, me, my sister and my dad went over to the beach to see my Grandma. First, we took her dog Marie for a little walk. Then we went to go get lunch, I had a delicious ham and cheese sandwich. Then we went back to the house for a little while.

Then my dad took me and my sister onto the beach, my sister walked Marie while my dad looked for sand crabs, I just ran around in the sand and waited for the water to come up on the beach, I had a lot of fun: ).

Then we went back to the house for a little while and talked, after a while we went to Albertons to get a few things.
I had a lot of fun today, I hope we can go see her again soon.

Bad Igbee

The day before yesterday, Haley went to pick Igbee up out of her cage, Igbee went to sniff her hand and then she bit her, Haley said it didn't hurt that much, but it did break the skin. After that, we kind of decided that we were not going to keep her, but I just wanted to hold her before she left, I wasn't worried about her biting again, I thought that maybe it was a mistake the first time. I opened the top of her cage but she didn't come out, and when I went to open the side door, she bit my finger three times, it didn't break the skin this time, but it proved that it was not a mistake the first time.

We then agreed that returning her was the definitely the right thing to do. She was really sweet when she was a baby, but the rat breeders online said that at this age, she would begin to show her true personality.

It was still a lot of fun having her, and if we ever do decide to get another one, we would definitely go to a breeder instead of the pet store.

Igbee is on my shoulder right now, she is trying to go down my arm on to my desk, but I won't let her. She has great balance, she can sit on my shoulder while I am typing. I had to put her in her cage so I could finish, she kept trying to get on my desk.

Its basically where you arrive at your new town, and you live you life however you want to you can buy stuff or sell stuff to make money, and you can meet your neighbors and get tasks from them for money(Bells). Anyway, its a lot of fun!

Nintendo DS

Last Thursday, me, my Grandma and my sister went out to go to Mervyn's, Though it took us a few hours to actually go into Mervyn's.

While we were over in our shopping center, we went into target first to get some stuff for a project that we were doing with our Grandma's church.

About a week before we decided that we should get my early Christmas present while we were out, I know it seems kinda early but we were worried that they would be out of stock by the time it was Christmas, I had asked for a Nintendo DS for Christmas,
But since it costed a little extra, I paid for the other part of it and the game that I got(Nintendogs: Chihuahua and Friends).

After going to Target and Gamestop, we were finally going to go to Mervyn's(Or so I thought).
Then, my sister wanted to get something from Micheal's real quick, we walked in got what she came for and looked around for a little while.

After that, we were once again on our way to Mervyn's. keep in mind that about every store there is about 30 seconds away, and somehow we took about three hours!(Not really!)
As we were going to Mervyn's, we saw a sale sign in Old Navy, so we went to look around.

Then we finally went inside Mervyn's:), and there was basically nothing nice we could find, accept for a little yellow purse that my sister bought.

Then we were done with our Mervyn's shopping trip, or should I say our Target, Gamestop, Micheal's, Old Navy and Mervyn's shopping trip.

I am making a plush bunny for Moriah, she is a baby who is having heart surgery on November 14th.

Chandler had a fun adventure tonight, we went to our grandma and grandpa's house to pick up Morgan and we took Chandler with us. We let him loose in their backyard, I am sure he had a lot of fun because he almost never gets to be loose on the grass.

The puppies are gone!

All the puppies are gone!
Gunny left yesterday(monday) to be fostered at Jacquie's, and later that day, he got adopted!

I am so happy for all of the pups, the only ones without homes now are Captain and Mia.
They should get adopted soon, they are so cute, if you want to see them, you can go to: FOCHP.com:)

I am kinda sad that they are all gone, but at the same time, we won't have to step in itty bitty puddles of piddle for a while:)
Now we are going to focus more on potty training Chandler.

Jane and Daisy were looking for Gunny when they came inside after he left, it was so sad, then after about 30 seconds, they decided it was time to move on, and they lied down and took a nap.

The Last Little Cookie

Earlier, A lady came over to look at Daddy, he immediately ran over to her and loved her so much. When we were holding him to say goodbye, he started whining until we put him down and he ran to her as quick as he could.

I am really happy for him and for her:)

Puppies

Yesterday we found out that Chris and Kristina went to their new home together, I am happy that a couple of them got to stay with one of their siblings.

Today someone is coming to look at Daddy, she said if he likes her she might take him home today.

Out of all of them we never thought that Gunny would be the last one out of the three, a family did come to see him a few days ago, so they might adopt him, but I wasn't sure.

Jane, Daisy and Chandler will be so happy if there is only one puppy left to bite them all over, Sometimes we find them laying on top of one of the tables out in the backyard when they've had enough of the puppies.

Earlier, Jacquie(She is with FOCHP) came over to give Gunny and Daddy their worm treatment, and she said that Chris and Kristina got adopted too.

They are going so fast, The only ones left are Gunny, Daddy, Captain and Mia.

Only two left

I havn't posted in a while, so I will give a quick update...

First, a few weeks ago Joey, Captain, Cece and Mia went to different foster homes.
Then, a week later Chris and Kristina went to a new foster home.
And yesterday, Ari went to her new permanent home.

So now we only have two puppies left...
Also, Kristina and Joey got adopted in the same home:)
Well thats all with the puppies, I will post if another one gets adopted.

And Chandler, I am starting to think is a mix of a Yorkie and a Great Dane!
Just kidding, but he is getting really big.
When we got him, the people said he would probably be 4 or 5lbs, and He feels like about 10lbs!

Puppies...

On september 2nd...we agreed to foster a pregenet dog...

On september 3rd...we heard that she went into labor...

Later that night...she came to our house still in labor with five puppies...

At the end of the day...we had NINE puppies...

It took us a while, but we finally have all of their names set.

There are five boys and four girls.

The boys are: Joey, Daddy, Captain, Gunny and Chris.

The girls are: Kristina, Cece, Ari and Mia,

And the mothers name is Cookie.

We are fostering them through a rescue group called 'FOCHP'.

Now the puppies are 12 days old.

Isn't he cute!
When I look at what he used to look like I cannot believe how big he is now!
we went to the vet about a week ago, and he weighed 6lbs. and 8ounces!
I couldn't believe it!
When we got him he was just a pound!(and an ounce)

Kirby is about fourteen weeks old now, he is so big!
Sometimes I cannot believe it when I see him.
He is also doing a lot better on walking on the leash.

Daniel came over today and he is spending the night, he is so cute.
I am used to the dogs, so when he acts like a mini person, its so cute!

Little Kirby

Me and Kirby were just relaxing on the couch, and he ust started licking me. He was being so sweet, I was surprised he didn't bite at all:D
He has been doing so good lately, and he has stopped waking everyone up in the morning.

Someone sent Kirby a blanket and FIVE toys, She sent a cute little blanket for him, a little squeaky tigger toy, a little jingly pooh toy, a little eyore toy, a little lion toy and a little monkey toy. And he LOVES playing with them!

I can't believe that I didn't post about it earlier, but we are fostering a blind yorkie pup. If you want a full story, go to: www.littlekirby.com.
I forget when we got him, but he was six weeks old when we got him. He is now about ten weeks old, if you go to his website start from the beginning:D

He is a little sweetheart!
And he is going to get a great home:D

Yesterday, (as you probably know) was the 4th of july. We went to the community party, at the park, it was fun, there were a lot of games and stuff. The party was right by the pool so we went in there for a while, then after the party we went to the pool closer to our house.

Me, my sister, and a couple other friends were all matching(on purpose),
We were wearing red shirts and denim shorts.

Jane is one of the best dogs ever, we took her out to our driveway to play ball with her, and she was so happy, and once she got tired she ran straight home!
She is awesome!

Fuzzie Got Adopted!

I forgot to post then but Fuzzie got adopted about a week or two ago, I loved her so much but I am so glad she got adopted because she was so much work, at first I wanted a yorkie but after this I don't think so:D

Also I forgot to post about this too, but about a week ago my sister and me were at the park, and I got to hold a ferret!
It was so cute and so sweet:D

Fuzzie

She is doing great, we took her off the wet food mixed with kibble, and let her be outside a bit more, that way she can eat and use the restroom when ever she needs to.

She is getting adopted soon, but the person lives in LA so when the yorkie rescue person is going there soon so she will drop her off then, I will miss her but she is a lot of work so it will be a slight relief...Ok a BIG relief, but i will miss her, but she is going to a GREAT home with two other yorkies, a girl and a boy, I think she will like her new home, but we are slightly worried that it will be hard for her to get used to her new home, it took her a day or so to get used to us and our pups.

But I think she will do fine after a little while, or even really soon:D

Fostering Fuzzie

Its been a while since I have posted, and we have singed up to foster for the Orange County Humane Society and the Yorkie Rescue(Its not called that), and just a couple days after singing up at the yorkie rescue, we got little Fuzzie:D.

Fuzzie is so tiny its not even funny, she weighs a little over 4lbs, she is the sweetest most adorable thing, but the only thing is we need to potty-train her, last night she pooped in her blanket, but hey its worth it for that adorable little dog.

Right now she is bothered with daisy's constant barking from the garage(So am I:D), but she is a really good girl, she is a little timid of dogs, I think it was from where she got rescued, the yorkie rescue rescued her from a dog hoarder and the other dogs must not have been that kind to her, I don't know if the rescue saved her or if she just took her from the place, but either way it is a nice place, I believe we are going to keep her until she gets adopted:D

My grandma is coming over today at 1:00, I am going to make cream cheese pie when she comes. Well there isn't much to talk about.

Well for my birthday I got seven little mini houses, a mouse house, a color explosion kit, headbands, clue the board game and an IPod Shuffle:D

Mall

Today dad is taking sister and a couple friends to the mall, and we are going to look around a little bit. I got up a bit early so hopefully I don't get to tired by 2:00.

By the way, i don't know if I already talked about Bob or not but I will say it again anyway, We are fostering this dog Bob, he is a little poodle and he is four years old. We might keep him but we are not sure yet, He is very sweet though.

Birthday Party!

Today is my Birthday!
Well tomorrow is my real birthday, but today is my party.
Last night we found out I was sick, but today I am a lot better.
We still have to check with everybody, but I am feeling a lot better.
I don't know how long I have had it, but Yesterday we found out.
Well hopefully I can still have my party today, but I don't want to get anyone sick.
But the sickness obviously is not a long one, but still I should be careful.

Well this year so far has been amazing!
A couple weeks ago my dad took me, sister and brother on an awesome off-road walk, there is a big hill on the other side of our neighborhood, that we always used to pass on walks, but this time we went up it!
It was so cool!
The first time it was only sister and me, but the second time our brother came too.
So after we walked up the hill (with our brother) we walked and then walked down a pretty steap slant, then there were these two sand patches, we walked down the hill another way and went completely around, then we went in to another neighborhood, on the other side of the hill which separated us from the other neighborhood.
Then we were going to go through the mountain lion trail, but it did not lead where we wanted it to go, so we decided to go up the hill that we started at, witch was much much steaper and was covered with thistles and sharp pokey sticks.
But brother helped clear a path.
Then we finally got to the top, and then we went back down the hill into our neighborhood, and went back to our house.
It was so cool!
We...well at least I had so much fun.
Then the rains came in and we have not gone on a walk like that for a while, but hopefully we will go soon.
But we got sick anyway.
Well that was so much fun!

And for christmas my mom and I got a dollhouse, maybe i can take a picture and put it up later.

Charm bracelet

Yesterday my grandma came over, we have been trying to plan something all week for her to give me my moms old charm bracelet.
its very pretty, and there are so many cute charms on it, and I put two of my own charms on it, also grandma brought an extra charm to put on it as well.
So I am very happy with it, and I wear it with my other little bracelet, its a thin gold bracelet, its very pretty.
Well thats what happened yesterday.

By the way, our aunt said that D-man (the baby) could come over and spend the night:).
We are very exited about that, and we get to keep him over night, Yay!.
Well that we are not exactly when we're going to do that, but we will do it soon hopefully.

Right now we are watching sesame street with our baby cousin, he is just so so cute, he is just adorable when he laughs and bounces around, we think he likes Elmo a lot, he loves it when they start singing, sometimes he gets all jumpy when they start singing, right now he is sitting in front of the TV in his stroller, he is very happy:).

Thanksgiving

Yesterday we went to our grandma's for thanksgiving, it was so much fun. Mom and me got some fabric, and buttons for our collections, also as we were looking through the fabric we found this little puppy purse that was my moms when she was little, so grandma let us take it to use it for a pattern and to use, I will try to post a picture of it in a while, its so cute.

Well for dinner we had turkey, fruit (stuffed fruit you could say), biscuits and corn. It was a great dinner.

We also watched a little football here and there, and then before it got to dark we went outside and played football.

Then for desert we had brownies, apple pie and pumpkin pie (We just chose what we wanted out of those). It was also a very good desert.

Well than...there are not much more things to tell...accept our baby cousin was there, he can crawl now, also he was on his belly crawling, and he used the footstool to stand-up (He cannot stand on his own yet). He is so cute.

Also we brought the dogs, and they had so much fun. Daisy ran away from us when we put them in the backyard, we were trying to get her in the crate, then we finally got her in the crate. They had so much fun.

Well thats pretty much it, that was our thanksgiving. What a happy day :).
